Was wir glauben

Wir glauben an einen dreieinigen Gott, wie er uns in der Bibel dargestellt wird: der Vater, der Sohn und der Heilige Geist. Er hat alles geschaffen und erhält alles. Seine Macht zeigt sich in Seinem Werk - der Schöpfung. Seinen Plan offenbart Er in Seinem Wort - der Bibel (Psalm 19:2; Timotheus 3:16). Er ist allwissend, allmächtig, allgegenwärtig und voller Liebe (Psalm 139:1; Johannes 4:12). Diese Liebe und Seine Vergebung beweist Er: „Denn Gott hat die Welt so geliebt, dass er seinen eingeborenen Sohn gab, damit jeder, der an ihn glaubt, nicht verloren gehe, sondern ewiges Leben habe.“ (Johannes 3:16).
Wir glauben, dass man dadurch errettet wird, dass man an Jesus glaubt. Man muss Sein Opfer, mit dem Er am Kreuz für unsere Sünden bezahlt hat, annehmen. Die Errettung kommt allein aus Gnade durch Glauben. Wir müssen Gott nur unsere Sünden bekennen und um Vergebung bitten. „Denn wenn du mit deinem Munde Jesus als den Herrn bekennst und in deinem Herzen glaubst, dass Gott ihn von den Toten auferweckt hat, so wirst du gerettet.“ (Römerbrief 10:9)
Wir glauben, dass Christsein heißt, eine persönliche Beziehung zu Gott zu haben. Wir sollen treu mit Ihm gehen und den Heiligen Geist wirken lassen, der uns hilft, ein christliches Leben zu leben (Römerbrief 8:11). Jeder Christ kann frei zu Gott kommen. Wenn wir in Christus bleiben, werden wir viel Frucht bringen (Johannes 15:5).
Wir glauben, dass die Gemeinde ein Ort zum Auftanken sein soll, wo man Gemeinschaft mit anderen Christen hat und die Bibel gelehrt wird. Wie die Urgemeinde wollen wir „in der Lehre der Apostel und in der Gemeinschaft und im Brotbrechen und im Gebet“ bleiben (Apostelgeschichte 2:42). Außerdem sind wir dazu berufen als Licht in der Welt zu leuchten und „aller Schöpfung“ das Evangelium zu verkünden (Markus 16:15) bis Jesus wiederkommt.
What We Believe
We believe in one triune God, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, as revealed in the Bible, who is the Creator and Sustainer of all things. His power is revealed in His Works, the Creation and His plan is revealed in His Word, the Bible (Psalm 19, 2 Tim. 3:16). His all knowing, all powerful, omnipresent, and all loving (Ps. 139, 1 John 4:12). His love and redemption are show in the Gospel: "For God so loved the world, He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him, should not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3:16)
We believe man is saved by believing and accepting the payment made by Jesus on the cross for the forgiveness of sins. This comes by grace alone through faith. This is a decision based upon confession of sin and asking God for forgiveness of sins. "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).
We believe the Christian life is a walk of a personal relationship with God. It is based upon the work of the Holy Spirit and the faithful walk of the Christian. Every Christian has full access to God and has the Holy Spirit to live the Christian life (Roman 8:11). When we abide in Christ, we will bear much fruit (John 15:5).
We believe the church is meant to be an oasis of Christian fellowship and Bible teaching. As the early church did, we want to "continue steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread and in prayers". (Acts 2:42). In addition, we are called to be shining lights in the world, sharing the Gospel with "every creature" (Mark 16:15) until Jesus returns. |
