Gottes Willen tun
"...im Buch steht von mir geschrieben, dass ich tue, Gott, deinen Willen"
Hebräer 10,7
Als Christen sind wir dazu berufen, ständig dem Willen Gottes zu folgen, und nicht nur, wenn es einfach ist oder uns gerade passt. Wir müssen wie Jesus beten: "nicht mein Wille, sondern dein Wille geschehe". Wenn wir uns selbst als "lebendige Opfer" hingeben werden wir wissen "was Gottes Wille ist, nämlich das Gute und Wohlgefällige und Vollkommene" (Röm 12:2), damit jeder "des Herrn würdig lebt, ihm in allen Stücken gefällt und Frucht bringt in jedem guten Werk." (Kolosser 1:10) ~
Doing God's Will
In the volume of the book it is written of Me - to do Your will, O God.
--Hebrews 10:7
We are called as Christians to do God's will all the time, not just when it is convenient or easy. We need to pray, as Jesus did, "not My will but Yours be done". As we present ourselves as "living sacrifices" we will "prove what the good, acceptable and perfect will of God" is (Romans12:2), so that we will "walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work..."(Col. 1:10).
